Daniel 6:1-28

When God’s people, the Israelites were in captivity, far away from the land God had promised to them, only a few of the Israelites refused to worship the dumb idols that the king and his people worshiped. Because Daniel would not bow down to the idols. He was cast into a den of lions as punishment. Miraculously, Daniel was not hurt by the lion.
