Luke 10:25-37 - The Good Samaritan

Jesus is our good friend and neighbor – our Good Samaritan. The Lord told this story of a man who was traveling down a road to another city. Along the way, some robbers came and beat him and left him for dead next to the road. Several passers-by saw the hurting man and didn’t stop. One even crossed to the other side of the road. But the Good Samaritan saw the man and wanted to help him. He bound up his wounds and put him on his own donkey. He brought him to an inn, and told the innkeeper he would pay for all of his expenses.
