Matthew 5:1-12

Jesus spoke to His disciples and followers to tell them what kind of people they should be in the world. He told them how to live a blessed human life. Jesus told us that we are blessed when we are empty toward God, pure in heart, poor in spirit, and merciful to others. He also said that when we mourn and weep, we will be comforted.
